The Thrower class is pretty simple, you just throw stuff, The weapons in this class don't have a category, but it's a pretty simple class from the Thorium mod. This class is pretty similar to the rogue class from calamity, to having similar weapons, to having Technique Scrolls that allow you to perform an ability similar to the stealth strike from the rogue class. This class is a sub-class in Terraria, and this mod turns it into a full class. This class only has 2 weapon categories, Consumable, and Non-Consumable, most of the weapons are daggers, knives, spears, and other stuff like that. The Technique Scrolls are not an Accessory, but simply an item that allows you to perform an ability when pressing a key, Most of the Techniques involve your cursor and are pretty cool. This class is often not known about at all, because nobody plays as a thrower, and like some people say, it's like the rogue class, but with a few tweaks.
These scrolls are items that can be activated by pressing a key, each scroll gives a different ability, but most have something to do with a cursor, or just give you a buff, like speed.
This Mechanic is weird, but when using non-consumable weapons, an Exhaustion bar will build up, and if it reaches full, then it will give you the exhaustion debuff, which cuts the damage of non-consumables by 20% until they deal 1 damage. Also, killing an enemy replenishes 10% of the maximum exhaustion.
The armor in this class is assassin-themed with masks, it doesn't give the best defense, but it gives some buffs like a chance not to consume consumable weapons and some armors give set bonuses as well. Here are some examples.
|
This is Tide Turner Armor, the best-throwing armor in the game. This armor gives a lot of buffs to you and even increases melee damage, even though it's a different class. The armor has 2 headsets but only one has an ability, the other one gives a bonus set. The one ability makes it so that all damage taken turns into healing, and the other armor bonus gives your weapons a chance to release aquatic homing daggers around you. |

This is Lich's Armor, a pretty good throwing armor in the game. This armor doesn't do much, but it does give an armor bonus that makes it so that if you kill an enemy, a soul fragment will release, and if touched, will increase movement and throwing speed. Touching this also causes a big pulsing effect around the player |
As said before, the Weapons are only in 2 categories, Non-consumable and Consumable. It's not that big of a choice, but since non-consumable weapons have the exhaustion mechanic, it is recommended that you use Consumable weapons, They are easy to craft, and you get them in bulk. But if you can handle the exhaustion and time your attacks to not spam, then you should be all good. Also, the Technique scrolls are technically part of the weapons since they give abilities, but they are not real weapons, but they are considered.

Non-ConsumableThis is the Light's Anguish, the nights edge version of the thrower class. This weapon is pretty simple, you throw it, it can pierce through one enemy, and inflict the Light Curse debuff. Since this is non-consumable, this does have the exhaustion bar, as you can see on the right, a small bar below the player. |

|
ConsumableThis is the Granite Throwing Axe, a pretty decent throwing weapon. There not much to say about this, only the fact that it causes granite overflow when falling from an arc, and inflicts the Granite Surge debuff. Other than that, it's a pretty common throwing weapon that is consumable. |
|
Technique ScrollsThis is a technique scroll called Shadow Dance. Technique scrolls are weapons, but they are considered as one since they give abilities. This one can teleport you to your cursor, which can be pretty useful, but it's a rod of discord variant. Not much to say other than that. |
That's what you need to know about the Thrower class, Overall it's pretty small, even for a sub-class turned into a full class. This class can be fun to play, but people always ignore it, since no one plays as a thrower, and it's just not that noticeable and not that creative. But still, this class is pretty similar to Rogue from Calamity, so if you enjoyed the Rogue class or want to get more experience playing the Rogue class, or something like that, this class is for you. The only major downfall of this class is the exhaustion bar, which can be annoying to deal with. But if you can handle this and not spam like crazy, then you should be good. Most people might play this class as a beginning class, but not as a full-on class.
